Pantone's Hottest Colors for Spring

It's hard to believe that in a few short days Spring will be here, especially as I am staring out my window to a steady stream of snowflakes. I absolutely love spring, a little selfishly because that means my birthday is right around the corner but I also love being able to spend more time outdoors and all of the fun activities that come with the warmer weather.

I can't wait to ditch the boots and jackets and slip on sandals and gorgeous skirts (think Lola's, Madison's, Maxi's, Lucy's and Cassie's, Oh My!). There are so many amazing new fashion trends for Spring including bold, colorful stripes and insanely beautiful florals but I wanted to share with you the hottest color trends for Spring!

I am in love with all of these gorgeous colors! Primrose yellow and Pale dogwood look very similar to the gorgeous dusty rose and mustard that we saw last season, and well you all know, two of my favorites! I would have to say that I am may be slightly obsessed with Pink Yarrow! It is such a gorgeous color and will mix well with a lot of the foundational wardrobe colors!

If you have to pick just ONE, which color is your favorite?

So what are the other gorgeous colors since I have clearly been playing favorites?

The color palette consists of some basic earth tones that can serve as staples in your wardrobe along with pops of vibrant colors that serve to help you "mix things up."

For me, Sharkskin, Warm Taupe, Dusty Cedar (Rose to me) and Spicy Mustard are all foundational wardrobe colors that will easily mix with others colors in your wardrobe. So I bet you are thinking great but can I see this in real outfits? Don't worry, I've got you covered and tomorrow we will be posting some gorgeous examples of this color palette in outfits!
