Top Cold Weather Accessories

I don’t know about you, but here in New York the temperatures are dropping and I am finding myself bundling up more than ever. The problem is, how do you accessorize for such cold weather? Well, yet again, I’m here to save the day with my top 5 winter friendly accessories!

1.       Headbands

Headbands are literally my life saver in the brisk mornings! Not only are headbands super fashionable and come in tons of colors to match any outfit, but they can even keep your ears warm when taking the kids to the bus stop or school. Throwing on one of our knit headbands can add just the perfect cozy look to any outfit. Do you live in a little warmer climate? Well then try one of our thinner headbands, these not only are adorable, but every purchase made also gives a child fighting cancer a headband too. Snag one of these for you or a friend, but also feel great in knowing that your purchase is a contribution to a child going through a difficult time.

2.       Scarves

Scarves are such an obvious winter accessory, but if you are anything like me, you need some cute patterns, fringe, or colors to add that perfect pop to your outfit. Lately, I’ve been loving wearing jeans and a basic solid top, but have jazzed up my outfit be adding a bold colored scarf, like this red and black plaid scarf.  If I’m wearing an outfit that is already a little bold in color, adding this two tone fringe scarf adds the perfect balance of fashionable and warmth.

3.       Hats

With these cold morning temperatures, I find myself hitting snooze a few too many times, which means I have overslept and lost time that otherwise would be allocated for hair styling. To solve this problem, I rely on hats of every variety. I love a good beanie, especially like these ponytail beanies where I can just throw my hair up and walk out the door. My other go to is a simple baseball cap, I love this one because it’s acid wash and can go with everything!

4.       Statement Necklaces

When it comes to jewelry, I love the versatility that comes with long, chunky, or bold necklaces. I love the simplicity of a solid chunky sweater that is so easily dressed up with a gorgeous necklace like this beaded tassel necklace. If you prefer a simpler look, you can never go wrong with a v neck top and a dainty piece like these initial necklaces.

5.       Bags

My last favorite winter accessory is an amazing purse/bag. Being an on the go mom, I love having a bag that I can throw everything I need into it. A black and white purse matches every outfit, and this bag features long shoulder straps! I also love to be organized in my purse. Whenever one of my sons needs something, I need to be find it quickly to avoid a meltdown, so these fun pouches are a must especially with needing all of my winter essentials like gloves, chapstick, or lotion.
